Privacy Policy
RUDAJO is the digital branch of Ru Graphics & Printing LLC, a business based in Queens, New York. This policy explains what information we collect on rudajo.com, what we use it for, and who receives it.
We wrote it in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us on purpose by filling out a form. Nothing is required to browse the site or read The Menu.
Free review request. Your business name, your name, your email, your website or Google page, and an optional note.
Contact form. Your name, your business name, your phone number, your email, and your message.
The Menu subscription. Your name and your email. Along with that, we record which page you subscribed from and which language you were reading in. It tells us which articles bring people in.
Our forms include a hidden anti-spam field. It collects nothing from you: if it gets filled in, the submission is discarded.
What we use it for
To answer you, prepare the review you asked for, follow up on a project, and — if you subscribed — send you the monthly recommendations from The Menu.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with anyone so they can advertise to you.
Where it goes and who receives it
When you submit a form, the data passes through a service called FormSubmit, which turns it into an email and delivers it to our Gmail inbox. That is the entire route.
We do not store form information in a database of our own on rudajo.com. Messages are processed by FormSubmit and delivered to our email account, where they may be kept for the purposes described in this policy.
The third parties involved are:
- FormSubmit — processes the form submission and forwards it to us by email.
- Google — our email is Gmail, so anything you send us arrives at a Google service.
- Google Fonts — the site's typeface loads from Google's servers. That means your browser makes a request to Google on every page, and Google receives your IP address. This happens on all pages, whether or not you fill anything in. It does not set cookies.
- Our hosting provider — like any web server, it keeps standard access logs.
The site assistant
The assistant in the bottom corner does not send your message to any server or to any artificial intelligence service. It does not store the conversation.
What it does is prepare a WhatsApp link containing the text you typed. You decide whether to open it and you decide whether to send it. If you continue on WhatsApp, you leave rudajo.com and enter a Meta service with its own terms and privacy policy.
The same applies to the WhatsApp buttons on the site.
Cookies
rudajo.com does not set cookies. It also does not use browser storage to track you.
We have no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no Meta pixel, and no other measurement or advertising tool.
We currently do not use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, advertising, or tracking visitor behavior. For that reason, we do not currently display a consent banner for those purposes.
If we ever add any of these, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Technical information
We do not run any tool that collects your IP address, browser, or device for analytics.
The only technical data that exists are the normal logs kept by our hosting provider, and the IP address Google receives when serving the typeface, as described above.
Links to other sites
Our work section links to client websites. Articles in The Menu link to official sources such as the New York City Department of Buildings.
Those sites are not ours and have their own policies. When you click through, you leave rudajo.com.
Advertising, affiliates, and sponsors
We currently have no advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored content, and no referral commissions.
If that changes, we will say so clearly in the content and update this policy.
Payments
We do not process payments on the website. We do not ask for or store card numbers or banking details.
How long we keep your information
We keep information for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain the record of a relationship or project, meet legitimate business purposes, and satisfy any applicable obligations. Once it is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete it.
We keep subscription details until the person asks to be removed, or until we stop using that list for that purpose.
If you want your information deleted sooner, write to us and we will do it.
Emails we may send you
We write to answer you, to deliver the review you requested, or to follow up on a project.
If you subscribed to The Menu, you receive the monthly recommendations. Nothing else. We do not use your email for anything else and we do not pass it to anyone.
How to unsubscribe
Reply to any message from us asking to be removed, or write to the address below. We will take you off the list and stop writing.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
Write to us and we will respond. You do not need to give a reason.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, let us know and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle, taking into account the limited nature of the data we collect.
No system on the internet is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. What we do instead is limit what we collect: the less data exists, the less there is to protect.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
If the change is significant, we will also let subscribers to The Menu know.
